My Meditation-ista Evening Routine

My Meditation-ista Evening Routine

Hey beauties,

I get a lot of questions about my meditation routines and how I make the time to be a meditation-ista.

I am going to share with you my simple evening routine which is also an amazing way to get the best beauty-sleep and get your energy and mind in tune with your intentions and goals.

The best part about it? You get to do it all from the comfort of your bed!

My Meditation-ista, Evening Routine

Journal (2-3 minutes): You do not need to write an epic novel or your memoirs just write out 3 amazing things that happened that day. Some days your only positive note will be that you are still alive or that you didn’t have a breakdown. Woohoo, celebrate that! Sharing these notes with your partner can be a fun little way to connect too. If there is something you are stressing about, write a reminder down to deal with it tomorrow and give your brain permission to let it go for the night.

Visualize (5 minutes): Picture how you want your day to look tomorrow. Are you making that big sale, nailing that board meeting or getting organized? Once you can see it, start to feel the emotions as if they are already happening. Then picture your week, month or year. Imagine all of the things you want to accomplish and pretend you already have them.

Meditate (5-20): I know, you might think meditation is only for people that want to “find themselves”, but it is scientifically proven that meditation helps in relaxation and a ton of other amazing benefits. You can lay in your bed, listen to a guided meditation on your phone (and then put it away without checking emails!) or you can just silence your thoughts and mindfully relax every part of your body from your toes to your head. This is an amazing meditation for a great sleep!

Bonus Tip: Stay in bed for 8 hours. Just do it, you need it more than you think.

Your meditations can be tailored to YOUR specific goals and dreams by doing some chakra work!

I like the idea of meditating in the morning; sometimes it’s hard though because we are in a rush to get to work or school or whatever. I guess you’ll have to focus on waking up a little earlier than usual to get your meditation time in. Thanks for these tips, I’ll have to try them soon.
