You Like Me…You Really Like Me

You Like Me…You Really Like Me

Thank you How I Adult for nominating me for The Liebster Award.  I’m very honored and excited to be recognized for doing what I love. Here are my answers to some questions about me…

1. What got you into blogging?

Funny story…several years ago while in the shower I had an inspiration to create an “online magazine”. At the time I didn’t know that what I was envisioning was a blog. Needless to say, I was hooked right from the beginning.

2. What was the last picture you took with your phone?

The last picture I took with my phone was my attempt at creating a mandala. 🙂

3. What are the first 5 things on your bucket list?

The first 5 things on my bucket list are: (1) Be a professional blogger, (2) Live on a farm with lots and lots of animals, (3) Visit Italy, (4) Take ballroom dance lessons, and (5) Have a house on the water.

4. Who is your role model?

My role model is my mom.  She loved her family tremendously and she lived life to the fullest. She always had a smile on her face and was the happiest person.

5. Batman or Superman? Why?

Superman, of course. Why? Because he has really cool powers. Sorry, Batman but you just don’t have game.

6. What’s one post you’ve written that you’re most proud of?

I’m most proud of the post “If it Makes Your Heart Sing, Do it!” because I felt true inspiration when writing this. This is how I live my life and what I wish for everyone. I wish for them to embrace their authentic self and life every day to the fullest.

7. If you had to listen to one song for a whole week, what would that be?

Hmmm, right now that song would have to be Fight Song by Rachel Platten. I find it to be very powerful and uplifting.

8. Are you an introvert or extrovert?

I’m an introvert pretending to be an extrovert. 🙂 But seriously, I’m an introvert. I enjoy working at home by myself and I prefer one on one conversations with friends as opposed to big groups. However, I actually love speaking in front of people and being on camera. I actually use to dance and perform in theater productions in my early 20’s. I know, I’m a mystery.

9. What does traveling mean to you?

Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. Unfortunately, I don’t get to do it very often. Traveling means to me adventure and freedom. I love learning new things and seeing places I’ve never been to before and trying the local cuisine. It’s also a nice break from my busy life.

Great post, Cindy. I am also an introvert portraying myself as an extrovert. I actually do much better speaking in front of hundreds of people than I do one on one with someone I don’t know yet. I like your style and look forward to reading future posts.
